INNOVATION
WOOD FIBER: the result of our extrusion process.
The Bioextruder is a patented machine with a proven track record of over twenty-five years.
The extrusion process exerts pressure and friction on the material resulting in a temperature increase up to 125°C causing the steam explosion and the defibration of wood: this changes the physical structure of wood and eliminates bacteria.
The machine is robust, reliable and can process all kinds of woody feedstocks.

INPUT MATERIAL
The feedstocks that can be processed by the Bioextruder can be categorized into different kinds of wood or wood-related products:
-
Virgin wood, which is freshly harvested wood from trees that has not undergone any prior processing.
-
Oversized compost from the composting, which refers to the woody residues left after composting. These residues are typically in a decomposed or partially decomposed state and can be used for enriching soil in gardening and agriculture.
-
Timber from treatment platforms of lignocellulosic material, which is wood obtained from treatment platforms where lignocellulosic materials (such as wood) are processed or treated. These treatments could include chemical processes or drying to modify the wood's properties for specific applications.
OUTPUT MATERIAL
The output material is wood fiber obtained from the processing of all kinds of wood through a physical and mechanical process of wood extrusion without chemical additives.
The wood fiber produced is easy and ready to use, has superb water and nutrient holding capacity, low salt content, neutral pH, mixes easily in growing media blends and does not need further treatments
Wood fiber is the only biological material which, if used in place of peat, contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Wood fiber is currently being utilized successfully in various applications, including premium soils, universal soils, cultivation substrates, and hydroseeding.
Cultivation trials have demonstrated that wood fiber is the optimal alternative to peat due to its capacity to minimize environmental impact and its potential for local production (km0).
